Sit With: New Moon Meditation

In this episode, we embrace the energy and wisdom of the New Moon. We start with a New Moon breath practice, pausing at the bottom of each exhale. Then we contemplate parts of ourselves that feel "stuck" and wonder what narratives we carry that keep us from feeling free.

New Moon Breath Practice

Start by taking a full breath in. Then, actively push the breath out. Hold the breath out, feeling into the emptiness. Push another breath out and pause again. Settle into the uncomfortableness at the bottom of the exhale. Then breathe in. Repeat 3-4 rounds.

We often avoid what is uncomfortable and empty, but this New Moon invites you to use those aspects of your life to shift narratives and ultimately experience more freedom.

because you are deciding
over and over again
to carry it

embrace change,
loosen up your sense of identity,
let yourself walk a new path

or erase the past,
